2016 Kenya Mission Trip
The “Msaada Watoto” (we all help the children) mission trip to Kenya from September 8-28 was very successful! The WPC members were able to complete all of the mission projects that were planned before the trip. Due to the very generous donations to Summer Mission by the congregation and a number of others from outside the congregation, they were able to do several extra projects that they didn’t discover until they were there. They also renewed friendships with many mission partners in Kenya, including Grace Kaigai, John and Grace Sankok, and Lucy Tinkoi. The ten members of the mission team came back feeling very blessed and inspired by this trip!

Adult Mission Work Team Trip April 17-23, 2016

Adult Mission Work Team Trip April 12-18, 2015 Point Pleasant Beach, NJ
Our team of 13 returned home safely on April 18 following a week of hard work and great fellowship in New Jersey. We stayed at the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church where the youth work camp team had stayed two weeks earlier. Our hosts at the Point Pleasant church told us that they were extremely impressed by our youth and their leaders!! We also enjoyed great fellowship within our group and with a group from Michigan who were also staying at this church.
We spent most of our time hanging drywall at a rather large house with 9’ ceilings in Manahawkin, NJ, and owner Dave very much appreciated our work. We also got to meet a number of folks from the Point Pleasant area who are sadly still not back in their homes 2.5 years after Hurricane Sandy.

Adult Mission Work Team Trip
September 28-October 4, 2014
Our team of nine had a very successful mission work trip to the Point Pleasant/Neptune New Jersey area. This area near the Jersey Shore had been badly devastated by Hurricane Sandy almost two years ago. Our team of nine hung drywall in a home owned by a single mother who has been living in a motel room since the storm. She had tears of joy when she came to see us and her home later in the week when we were there. And once again thank you for your prayers and for your generous financial support of our trip!

Adult Mission Work Team Trip April 6-12, 2014
An adult mission work team recently returned from a trip to the New York City area (Far Rockaway) to help with a Hurricane Sandy relief project. They stayed at First Presbyterian Church in the Jamaica section of Queens (where Alan Durbin and Brad Adams stayed in July 2013 when they went with a group from Presbytery). As usual, it was a rewarding and inspiring trip. Staying and working in an urban area does make it different in some ways from all of the prior trips.

Adopt-A-Highway Litter Pick-up November 4 & 5, 2013
Thanks to all who helped with the litter pickup along Rt 250 from Klem Road to Lake Road on November 4th & 5th! Although it took two crews to do it this time, the Lord provided just enough help to complete the work on two separate days. Our NYS highway department contact recently shared how pleased they are with our faithful service on this project!

In-House Workcamp October 14-18, 2013
