Overview

The church cultivates connections between members “in community” as we grow in relationships with God and with each other in a sense of true belonging as the family of believers; Christ’s Body. Together in actions of kindness and service we live the love of Christ towards each other and the greater community.

Books, Faith & Friendship

BFF is a book club comprised of a small group of women. Weekly meetings begin at 10:30 am with devotion and end at approximately noon with a prayer. We choose books to read and discuss that deal with spiritual topic of interest to all. This group is currently meeting on Google meets. A link is sent out each meeting by email. To join this group of readers contact Janet Chippero at  janetchippero@gmail.com.

Heart and Hand

It is a true blessing to care for others. Heart and Hand  is a group of people who come together to make blankets, pillowcases, quilts, and  other creations for the purpose of giving them to people to remind them that they are loved. They use their hands along with their hearts as blessings for others. They meet one morning each month to share a breakfast treat and devotions. Then they work together on projects-cutting sewing, pressing, etc. – something for everyone to do, whatever their interests and/or experiences. Fellowship is a major goal of the morning so there is lots of conversation and sharing together throughout the time together.  There is always something new!  Contact Tina McNeary (413-7809)to join the group.

   Small Groups
Small Groups are a great place to grow in fellowship with each other, and in Community! The Spiritual Nurture committee encourages and helps to form Small Groups of 10-12 individuals that meet on a regular basis for study, worship, and fellowship. Find more information on our Small Groups page or call the Church Office at 585-265-9700.

Women’s Circles

WPC has three women’s circles which meet monthly, except for July & August: King Circle meets the 2nd Thursday, Naomi Circle meets the 2nd Wednesday and Rachel Circle meets the 4th Monday.

Circles welcome the woman of the church to a smaller group to bind together in friendship that last a lifetime. Circle meeting programs are selected, planned and carried out by the individual Circle. Meeting programs vary but may include Bible & book studies, service or mission work, creative projects or active games.
