Our young people are one of our greatest assets. They ask good, honest questions, and challenge us to be real about our faith and our lives. Youth are part of our leadership, worship, care-giving, and outreach. We teach them in the way of the Lord, nourish them in their faith, pray for them, and give thanks for their presence among us.

Youth Fellowship Mission Statement

To actively participate in the church community: Our youth are an important part of the church community. It is our goal to encourage and engage them in supporting the multiple ministries of our church.

Helping to create an environment of grace: So many times and in so many places in the lives of our youth, they are not able to comfortably express themselves or be themselves in a group of their peers.  An “environment of grace” is a place and setting where all may come without fear of judgment or condemnation. It is a place where there is security and comfort so that all may be who God created them to be.

Where we can grow in faith and nurture a deeper friendship with God:The church is where youth are encouraged to grow in their personal relationships with Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through Biblical teaching, discipleship, and youth leaders. By entering into deeper friendship with God, our youth will learn “to enjoy Him.

Extend the youthful hand of Christ into the world: The mission of the church is to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19 NIV). The youth are taught how to do this in their everyday lives while they practice through their participation in various service projects. Learning how to preach the Gospel not only in word, but also in action, the youth will learn how “to serve Him” in the world.
